Harley had the hiccups so Daddy tried to scare them out of her...this was the result:
Fall Movie Nights in Birmingham

I'm a little late on this blog post...Harley will be 8 months next week! She had a great summer and is enjoying her fall so far.
She also got to see her friends Grant (Scott & Cyndi's) and Wells (Ward & Ruth's).
She loves cheering for the Tide!
She got to spend some time with Greta, John & Evan and attend her first birthday party...her BFF Ruby's 1st Bday!

I guess the biggest happening in Harley's life is that she started school!
She seems to enjoy seeing the other kids and comes home tired, but happy. She's eating like a champ...carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, peas, green beans, apples, bananas, pears, and her favorite, mangoes!
This weekend, we're heading to Ttown for the Alabama/Florida game. She's a great traveler. Speaking of travelling, Bayron and I went to San Fransisco at the end of August. Yokie and Pop stayed with Harley for two nights and SheShe and Granddaddy stayed with her for three. She did great and we had a blast!

I'll try to post her 8 month update sooner! Roll Tide!
August Photo Album
We also played at Ava's pool one day with Mom & Dad (Yokie & Pop) Sarah, Madeline, MB, Ava & Granny.

The last day, Bayron & I took Bryan to Alabama Adventure and Sandra, Allen & Alexandria came too! I think Bryan had a fun time in Birmingham!
On August 3rd, Harley turned 6 months old! She is so much fun and does something new every day. She reaches for everything you put in front of her and she's very interested in the excersaucer toys. And she really enjoys being in her swing and in the jumper now. She can roll from her tummy to her back, but hasn't mastered the back to tummy roll yet. No teeth but she's definitely teething. She's had cereal and now squash with a spoon & is eating both like a champ!
Harley turned 5 months on July 3, 2010. She seemed to really enjoy her first 4th of July as well as Mommy's birthday. She's getting to be so fun and interactive. Smiling and laughing are very common occurrences now. She grabs at toys and is beginning to put everything she touches in her mouth. She had her first night away from Mommy and Daddy a few weeks ago. SheShe and Granddaddy stayed with her at our house while we spent a nice night away at Ross Bridge. Then, she had her second night away from us on July 4th while we went to Atlanta to meet Greta & John's baby Evan and to see Phish! Yokie, Pop and Nan stayed with her at our house for that night. Both times the grandparents reported that she had been a perfect angel. :) She continues to sleep through the night which is great. I think she's beginning teething. She eats cereal in a bottle, but has not yet mastered the spoon. We'll be trying that again soon. Her favorite time of day is bathtime. She absolutely loves splashing in the water. Since her sign is Aquarius, I think she'll be a water baby for sure!

The theme was nursery rhymes, so the centerpieces were actually the hostess gifts with books brought by guests. So cute!
Wow...four months! So much to say about Miss Harley at 4 months. She laughs & coos & grabs things (like Mommy's hair!) and watches TV (she's her Mother's Daughter for sure). She went to the beach (PCB!) and did just great! She loves her Cousin Bryan because he loves playing with her! Harley loves her excersaucer, her play mat, and she's starting to like her swing more and more. She also loves sitting outside in her bouncy seat while Mommy and Daddy eat dinner. She's going to sleep earlier and normally wakes up around 6 or 6:30. She's such a good, sweet baby! Everyday is something new & fun.
Very soon, Baby Boy Flynn will be here!! We celebrated his upcoming arrival with a baby shower last month at Inverness Country Club. Good food, good gals, good gifts...good times. :)
On May 3rd, my little baby girl was THREE months old!! She's getting so interactive now - smiling and laughing and cooing. She loves to lay on her back and flail her arms and legs around. She loves to look at toys & books and her hands & feet. It is so cool to see the fascination on her face when she spots something new. She loves looking at Mommy and Daddy talk and make faces. Her favorite song is "All around the Mulberry Bush" and she always cracks a big smile for the "POP goes the weasel" part. She definitely knows Mommy, Daddy, Abbie, Yokie, Pop, Nan, SheShe, and Granddad. Nan (my Granny) can make her smile & laugh like no one else. It is so cute!
She enjoys visiting with Aunt Sandra & Uncle Allen and Aunt Amanda & BFF Ruby. This past weekend was our Mom's Day celebration and cousin Bryan had a lot of fun playing with Harley. Bayron kidding-ly told Bryan to be careful because Harley would bite...a few minutes later Bryan said to me..."Um, Amy...when I was that little, did I bite?" Adorable. I said "she doesn't bite Bryan; Bayron was just kidding with you." :) Harley is looking forward to her first trip to the beach next week and spending more time with Uncle Lane, Aunt Lori & Bryan.Cousins Mary Beth, Bryan, Harley & Madeline
